VI has extensive experience with a very broad range of optical coatings. Our owner/president worked as VP of Research, Development, and Engineering at EMF in the 1990’s, went on to teach optical coating design at the Univ. of Rochester, and was the lead engineer/scientist for coating processes at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics for over 20 years. He continues to teach courses on how to design, deposit, and evaluate optical coatings. Extreme specifications can always be challenging, but standard coating types can be readily provided.
